Estimation of the Warning Time Due to an Accident in the ALLEGRO Traffic Management and Information Centre
The innovation and competence team named "Evaluation of Travel Management Assistance Systems " has for mission to elaborate new methodologies of evaluation, as those developed for the user information and traffic management projects. This study, complementary to the evaluation of the Allegro system, which manages the freeways of Lille city, helped to innovate and to highlight the decrease in warning time by using automatic incident detection (AID) systems.
