Wildlife Vehicle Collisions in Canada: A Review of the Literature and a Compendium of Existing Data Sources
Currently in Canada there is no centralized resource for sharing wildlife-vehicle collision (WVC) data. This document is the first step towards establishing a clearinghouse for WVC data. Sections include: a literature review of current WVC data characteristics, existing data sources, and limitations and opportunities of existing data. The next step in the process is a feasibility study published as a separate document.
