INVERSE PROBLEMS FOR SUPERCAVITATING BODIES
Employing the Prandtl acceleration-potential method, singular integral equations are obtained for supercavitating bodies. For a rectangular pressure distribution over a two-dimensional foil a solution is obtained by means of Keldysh-Sedov inversion formulas. It is shown that the axisymmetrical problem can be solved on the basis of the solution of the two-dimensional problem with an error permissible in practical calculations.
