Teens and Driving in California: Summary of Research and Best Practices
The crash rate among teens is the highest of any age group and is the major cause of death for teens in California. Recently there has been an increase in the crash rate among teens which has caused a renewed interest in teen traffic safety. The purpose of this guide is to present the major risk factors associated with teen driving in California and to highlight policy and program strategies that may be influential in reducing risk.
