Prospective Study into Harmonised Train Accident Precursors Analysis and Management
The goal of this research was to determine railroad accident precursors that are fairly practical and sound, and that can be implemented at a management and operational level. The research: (1) pinpointed accident precursors and developed fault trees to graphically display accident precursors for six types of train accidents; (2) developed a comprehension of current motivations and practices in the European Union; and (3) combined actual understanding of railroad accident monitoring and precursors with theoretical railroad accident precursor fault trees.
