Characteristics of Transportation Means of Bulk Cargo from the Aspect of Transportation System Selection

Karakteristike transportnih sredstava rasutih tereta s aspekta izbora transportnog sustava

This paper presents a procedure for analyzing the characteristics of alternative systems for the transportation of bulk cargoes. The included features of transportation systems are the basic part of a set of criteria for the selection of the best variety. Besides the standard systems the new system of trolley cars has been included as well, and its features essential for the ranking of variants have been highlighted. Out of a larger number of benefits and disadvantages of the system, the basic ones have been isolated that satisfy the evaluation of the effects of introducing the new system.
