THE MANY FACES OF POLYETHYLENE
Polyethylene, the most widely used of all plastics, comes in many forms. Although most PE resins are used in products of minor engineering interest, the high density, and particularly the ultra-high-molecular-weight polymers, are something else. The UHMW versions are true engineering materials that can be compounded to provide outstanding abrasion resistance or impact strength.
