Business Reporting in HZ-Passenger Transport Ltd.

Poslovno izvjescivanje u HZ-Putnicki prijevoz d.o.o.

In the paper the author presents the significant facts about the procedure of reporting, particularly using the example of the company that performs railway passenger transport in Croatia (HZ-Passenger Transport Ltd.) with brief reference to other respective subjects. The basic types of reports are presented, which are used in producing business reports of certain types of forms according to contents, which satisfy the reporting requirements ranging from general legislative obligations to the specific characteristics of the railway. The emphasis in the paper is on business reporting from the contents of the reports themselves to the purpose they have to fulfill, since without these it is impossible to provide normal working conditions and operation of concrete trade companies; in this case particularly of the HZ-Passenger Transport. Certain types of reports serve as information about the business results and as the base for decision-making by the authorized bodies in the company, as well as government and other instances. The author of the paper has been involved in producing of all the mentioned reports in the HZ-Passenger Transport Company over the entire period of its past existence, along with the earlier acquired experiences in the respective field.
