ELECTRICAL ANALOGY ILLUSTRATION OF A CIRCULAR PLATE, EXCITED TO VERTICAL HARMONIC VIBRATIONS, ON THE ELASTIC, ISTROPIC SEMI-INFINITE MASS /IN GERMAN/

AFTER AN ESTIMATION OF THE STATE OF THE ART OF FOUNDATION DYNAMICS, RESULTS OF THE MOVEMENTS OF A CIRCULAR SURFACE VIBRATING VERTICALLY ON THE ELASTIC, ISOTROPIC SEMI-IN- FINITE MASS, AND HAVING PRESCRIBED STRESS DISTRIBUTION, ARE EVALUATED. THROUGH APPLICATION OF THE ANALOGIES BETWEEN THE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL DIMENSIONS, AN ANALOGY MODEL, BASED ON FREQUENCY-INDEPENDENT CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS WITH APPROXIMATELY EQUAL MATHEMATICAL PROPERTIES, IS PRESENTED FOR THE COURSE OF THE MOVEMENT. ON THE REPLACEMENT SYSTEM THE ACTION OF AN AXIALLY SYMMETRICAL FOUNDATION HAVING VARIABLE VOLUME AND GROUND AREA IS INVESTIGATED AND COMPARED WITH THE THEORETICAL RESULTS. IN ADDITION, A SOIL TEST METHOD CONSISTING OF AN ELECTRO-MAGNETIC VIBRATION EXCITER AND AN ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING THE DYNAMIC FORCE AND THE VIBRATION SPEED OF MODEL FOUNDATIONS WAS DEVELOPED, AND APPLIED TO A 25 M.
