NEW ATC SYSTEM BY NON-INSULATED TRACK CIRCUIT
New Automatic Train Control system for the SHIN KANSEN network is under investigation. The proposed system makes use of non-insulated track circuit. It can transmit 12 signals which enable automatic train operation. The devices are installed concentrically in the signal bores of which intervals are 30 to 50 km.
