WATER CONTAMINATION OF JOURNAL ROLLER BEARING GREASES
To investigate the influence of contaminated water on the deterioration of roller bearing greases, a series of field tests was performed on cars running in the snowy district and on cars of the same type running in the non-snowy district. The greases used for the tests were sodium soap base grease, lithium soap thickened grease and calcium complex soap grease.
