WIRE ROPE IN MARINE ENGINEERING
KABEL IN DER MEERESTECHNIK
Very extreme operating conditions of wire rope and/or cables in marine technology can be assigned to the following fields: Mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics, pneumatics, hydrostatics, biology, chemistry, raw materials, cable construction. Descriptions of already constructed submarine cables for marine technology demonstrate the range of variability of these cables. In the same way the limits of cable-applicability in the oceanographic field are indicated and explained.
