SOME NEW CONCEPTS IN DREDGE DESIGN
Over the past ten years there has been an increasing need for deeper digging and higher capacity dredges for both mineral mining and marine construction on inland waters and offshore, with such needs continuing to escalate. Consequently this article presents recent developments, characteristics, relative economics and applications of these two types of ladder dredges.
