THE UNDERSTANDING AND PREDICTION OF TURBULENT FLOW
Mathematical methods, such as integral and transport differential equations, are discussed as aids in analyzing turbulence in fluid dynamics studies. The mechanism of turbulence and physics of shear layers are evaluated as preliminary steps, and typical calculation methods for turbulence models presented.
