The 2010 Florida Department of Transportation statewide study Trip Generation Characteristics of Small Box Retail Stores, Major Single Retailer Distribution Centers, and Free-Standing Discount Superstores researched recent trip generation characteristics that may have been understudied or different than published in the Institute of Transportation Engineers’ Trip Generation, 8th Edition. This paper reports on the findings.
