SHIP LOCK SIMULATION FACILITY
A method and simulation procedure were developed for studying the efficiency of a lock installation. The model is fully able to investigate the performance of the usual type of port entrance lock but it is especially designed for studying the efficiencies of locking systems having a much higher utilisation, particularly, large locking systems comprising two or more locks in parallel that might be found in a sea-way of the future.
