A Study on Efficient Parking Guide System Using Zigbee Wireless Network
In this paper, a system that efficiently guides each vehicle to a vacant parking space in large parking areas using a ZigBee network is proposed. Recently, huge parking areas that are constructed in expressways, large complexes, amusement facilities and shopping centers are often very crowded and it is sometimes very difficult to find a vacant parking space quickly. In order to improve this problem, a system with information of the shortest route to a vacant parking space is transmitted to vehicles equipped with the ZigBee terminal via an ad hoc ZigBee network. The effectiveness of the proposed system is shown by simulations.
