English-Chinese Chinese-English Glossary of Transportation Terms

This book presents a dictionary of transportation terms and expressions in both Chinese and English. It is a translation and revision of part of a 1996 publication by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), U.S. Department of Transportation, entitled, "Glossary of Transportation Expressions." The BTS publication included many subject areas and transportation modes. For its first attempt, the Chinese-English /English-Chinese version herein contains terms only related to highways and rail transportation. It is the hope that other subject areas and transportation modes will be included in subsequent publications.
