THE NEW COLLISION RULES

A discussion of the new set of the International Rules of the Road, to be known as the International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea, 1972, is presented. Included in the article are discussions of the changes made in the arrangement, changes in principle, and changes in the wording of the rules.
