OFFSHORE SAFETY AND POLLUTION CONTROL
A discussion of the measures taken to prevent oil spills and oil pollution from offshore drilling and production wells is presented. Included are descriptions of fire fighting equipment, a pollution control system, with detailed descriptions of surface and subsurface safety valves, and sand erosion control equipment. Results of equipment tests are also included.
