Stormwater considerations for the West Lakes development
The West Lakes development is a land reclamation of 1,640 acres in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Stormwater from over 13 square miles of the Adelaide suburban area will flow into the 200 acre lake which will be in the development. The water flows into the west lakes area have been predicted by the Road Research Laboratory method and field measurements have been made of stormwater using automatically recording stream gauges. Investigations have been carried out into the effect of stormwater flows on the water quality in the lake. The paper was presented by jg martin.
