Specialist committee on traffic flow and operations, the Australian Road Research Board: address of the retiring chairman
The traffic flow and operations specialist committee was suggested by professor blunden who was invited to be its first chairman. He assisted the Australian Road Research Board to recruit its members and prepare the terms of reference. When professor blunden decided to step down from the chair as at the 30th June, 1966, he was requested to review the progress made by this committee up to this time. The professor's views were later discussed by him with the committee and are published with their full endorsement.
