Brisbane bus/ rail coordination
The study was carried out in two phases defined as task 1 and task 2. Task 1 consists of an overall evaluation of the potential for bus/ rail coordination. Each area which could be coordinated is compared with possible express bus service. The faster service to the travelling public in those areas is thus determined. Task 2 consists of an evaluation of the potential for immediate bus/ rail coordination. This is defined as coordination which can be effected with minimum of alteration to existing CBD oriented bus services.
