An introduction to the workshop

The workshop has the objective of establishing the current state of the art of stabilisation of pavement materials and natural soils with particular emphasis being given to the practical aspects of : (a) the reasons for stabilisation (b) design criteria which are compatible with these reasons (c) appropriate methods of testing (d) construction techniques.
