Maintenance management of road pavements: pavement routine maintenance inspection chart
The pavement routine maintenance inspection chart was developed by the authors in order to secure uniformity of routine maintenance practice. The chart lists categorised routine maintenance instructions corresponding with faults that can be detected during routine inspections. It also serves as a check list for staff who lack experience but are required to carry out routine maintenance inspections. The chart also helps to determine the priorities of service faults. The chart is being used in the blue mountains area of New South Wales (a).
