THE SEA TRANSPORT OF REFRIGERATED CARGOES IN CONTAINERS
After a brief reference to the history of transporting refrigerated cargoes in containers, the authors discuss the various methods of carrying refrigerated containers at sea which have evolved during the past few years. General requirements for designing and testing refrigerated/insulated containers, their maintenance and requirements for the carriage of refrigerated cargoes in containers at sea are also discussed, together with the authors' conclusions regarding future trends.
