BOUNDARY LAYER OF NON-NEWTONIAN POWER-LAW FLUIDS WITH ARBITRARY PRESSURE GRADIENTS
A semi-integral method is employed, based on simultaneously solving the linearized equation of motion, and an integral relationship, for integrating boundary-layer equations for power-law non-Newtonian fluids. Formulas are obtained for the velocity distribution in the boundary layer and for the frictional stress for an arbitrary velocity distribution outside the layer.
