ELECTRICAL METHOD FOR THE CONTROLLED SPLITTING OF NATURAL STONE /IN RUSSIAN/
DETAILS ARE GIVEN OF A METHOD OF SPLITTING ROCKS WHICH USES A HIGH FREQUENCY DIRECTIONAL ELECTRICAL FIELD. THIS FIELD HEATS THE STONE AND CAUSES THERMAL STRESSES TO APPEAR RESULTING IN FAILURE. THIS METHOD INCREASES THE OUTPUT IN PRODUCTS OF A GIVEN SHAPE AND REDUCES RESIDUES. /LCPC/RRL/
