DESIGN SECTION E006: GLENMONT SUBSURFACE INVESTIGATION- RETAINING WALLS TIE BREAKER AND SUBSTATIONS
RESULTS OF 27 BORINGS MADE AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN SECTION B006 OF GLENMONT ROUTE ALONG THE METROPOLITAN BRANCH OF THE B AND O RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY ARE SUMMARIZED IN THIS REPORT. THE PURPOSE OF THE INVESTIGATION WAS TO EVALUATE SUBSOIL CONDITIONS AT A SERIES OF RETAINING WALLS, TIE-BREAKER STATIONS AND SUBSTATIONS. THE REPORT CONTAINS GEOLOGICAL SECTIONS AT THE LOCATION OF STRUCTURES, LOGS OF THE BORINGS, RESULTS OF LABORATORY TESTS ON SPLIT-SPOON AND UNDISTURBED SAMPLES AND CONCLUSIONS REGARDING SUBSOIL PROPERTIES. /AUTHOR/
