DETERMINATION AND ASSESSMENT OF THE BLASTING PROPERTIES OF ROCKS BASED ON THE SPECIFIC EXPLOSIVE ENERGY CONSUMPTION /IN GERMAN/

IN THE EXPERIMENTAL PART OF THE WORK, THE METHODS OF QUANTITATIVE DETERMINATION OF BLASTING PROPERTIES WERE DEVELOPED. THE TOTAL ENERGY OF AN EXPLOSIVE AS A CRITERION OF ITS EFFICIENCY AND THE EXPLOSIVE ENERGY CONSUMED IN BLASTING A ROCK SAMPLE ENCLOSING THE EXPLOSIVE CHARGE WERE MEASURED IN AN EXPLOSIVE CALORIMETER. THE MATERIAL FRACTIONATED IN THE BLASTING WAS ANALYZED FOR PARTICLE SIZE AND THE SPECIFIC SURFACE AREA WAS DETERMINED BY THE BET METHOD. INFORMATION IS ALSO GIVEN ON THE DETERMINATION OF THE BLASTING REQUIREMENTS AND THE PRACTICAL APPLICATION OF EXPLOSIVES. /TRRL/
