PREDICTION PROCEDURES FOR TWO-DIMENSIONAL, BOUNDARY LAYER FLOWS. EQUATIONS AND ASSUMPTIONS
The equations relevant to prediction procedures for turbulent, two-dimensional, boundary-layer flows are discussed. Sets of equations, from the simple case where no differential equations are used to describe the turbulence characteristics, to the more complex cases which require several differential equations, are formulated and the relative advantages of each set are indicated.
