INLET SYSTEM OF FEEDWATER PUMPS ON BOILERS WITH VARYING EVAPORATOR PRESSURE
KESSELSPEISEPUMPEN-ZULAUFSYSTEM BEI GLEITENDEM ENTGASERDRUCK
Starting from the intake requirements for cavitation-free pump operation, the pressure fluctuation in the evaporator and feedwater receiver are considered, and a practical method is examined for designing the inlet system of a boiler feedwater pump. Indications are given for the configuration and arrangement of individual compounds and cavitation protection devices are critically assessed.
