PRACTICES RELATED TO DEBRIS HAZARD CONTROL AND CLEANUP
THIS STUDY REVIEWS EXISTING PROCEDURES INVOLVED IN RESTORING THE SCENE OF A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT TO ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION AND EMPLOYED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF VIRGINIA; IDENTIFIES ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND PRIVATE AGENCIES WHICH ARE AVAILABLE TO ASSIST IN DEBRIS HAZARD CONTROL AND CLEANUP; AND RECOMMENDS, WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF EXISTING PRACTICES, LAWS AND REGULATIONS TO EFFECT AN IMPROVED PROGRAM FOR REMOVAL OF DEBRIS FROM A CRASH SCENE, INCLUDING SAFE HANDLING OF HAZARDOUS OR DANGEROUS ARTICLES. /AUTHOR/
