LOW COST AUTOMATIC SHIP POSITIONING AND GUIDANCE SYSTEM

Low cost Loran C navigation display system is discussed. The COGLAD (Coast Guard Loran Assistance Device) provides helm steering displays and trackline displays using an ADL-21 receiver and HP 9100 series of desk top calculator devices. The programmable nature of the system makes it highly adaptable to other operational uses.
