COMPUTER SIMULATION OF AN UNCONTROLLED T-JUNCTION
A GAP-ACCEPTANCE TRAFFIC MODEL IS DESCRIBED TOGETHER WITH A DIGITAL COMPUTER PROGRAM TO DETERMINE BY SIMULATION THE CAPACITY OF AN UNCONTROLLED T-JUNCTION. FROM THE RESULTS OF THE SIMULATION, AN EMPIRICAL FORMULA IS DERIVED WHICH ENABLES THE CAPACITY OF THE MINOR ROAD TO BE CALCULATED FOR ANY COMBINATION OF TURNING MOVEMENTS. /AUTHOR/
