VEGA X-BAND ENHANCER, AN ADVANCED TECHNOLOGICAL AID TO NAVIGATION
A practical x-band enhancer which will respond to marine radars operating in the 9300 to 9500 MHz frequency band without the necessity for radar tuning has been developed. The equipment may be strategically located and used for navigation of rivers and waterways or it may be used to enhance the radar return from small boats for collision avoidance and also search and rescue.
