DETERMINING PARKING REQUIREMENTS BY STUDY OF PARKING HABITS
PARKING HABITS ARE EVALUATED BY INTERVIEWING PERSONS IN DWELLING SUGGESTED BY STATISTICAL SAMPLING. ANALYSIS WAS MADE AS TO TRIP PURPOSE, LENGTH OF TIME PARKED, TIME OF DAY WHEN PARKED, KIND OF PARKING, TIME OF TRAVEL FROM PARKING PLACE TO DESTINATION, WHY PARKING SPACE WAS USED, AND FREQUENCY OF PARKING. POLICIES RELATING TO THE LOCATION, FINANCING, DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF PARKING TERMINALS MAY BE ADOPTED AFTER ANALYSIS OF RESULTS. /AUTHOR/
