THIS PAPER SETS OUT THE OBJECTIVES AND METHODS OF PARKING CONTROL AS USED FOR TRAFFIC RESTRAINT IN GREATER LONDON AND ADVOCATES CONTROL PREDOMINANTLY BY PRICING. USING RESULTS OF SURVEYS SUMMARIZED IN THE REPORT IT SUGGESTS THAT A 15 PERCENT REDUCTION CAN BE ACHIEVED IN CAR COMMUTING TO CENTRAL LONDON. /AUTHOR/
