Workshop on soils in rural Queensland, 29-30 July 2003 at Toowoomba
The design, construction and maintenance of roads and structures is affected by the physical and chemical properties of local soils. Technical staff should understand the interaction of these properties with the demands that are made on and by our infrastructure. This workshop looked at why soils behave the way they do and what technical staff have to do to account for these properties.
