A Mobile Platform for Roadway Incident Documentation
This report focuses on post-incident operations with the intention to moderate roadway congestion and to enhance the safety of law-enforcement officers. The objective of the study is to develop application tools (a combination of computer hardware and software) that can be used by officers to record, document, and analyze roadway incidents quickly and effectively. The aim is to reduce the time spent by law enforcement personnel on the incident scene, thus resulting in a direct decrease in roadway blockage, traffic congestion, or both.
