Transport Direct: multi-modal travel information in Great Britain
Transport Direct was first announced in 2000 as part of the UK Government's 10-Year Plan for Transport. The vision was of a comprehensive, easy-to-use, multi-modal travel information and ticketing service. This paper describes how that vision has been turned into a reality.
