AN INFORMATION DISPLAY SYSTEM, INSTALLED IN THE RAPID RAIL TRANSIT TERMINAL OF THE WORLD TRADE CENTER IN NE YORK, SHOWS ROUTINE TRAVEL INFORMATON AND SPECIAL NEWS BULLETINS. THE SYSTEM CONSISTS OF LARGE BOARDS DISPLAYING 4-IN. HIGH ALPHANUMERIC CHARACTERS. THE MESSAGES THAT APPEAR ARE GENERATED BY A DATAVISION D-1500. FREQUENTLY USED MESSAGES CAN BE GENERATED ONCE AND SOTRED ON AN SUDIO TAPE CASSETTE, WHICH WHEN INSERTED INTO THE CONSOLE WILL TRANSMIT THE MESSAGE TO THE BOARDS.
