ITS architecture: issues for interoperability
A common understanding of interoperability in transport systems and services is far from final achievement, due to a variety of structural and conceptual factors. This paper identifies some of the more significant factors and, based on current experience in Australia and drawing from perceptions of progress in other countries and regions, provides some suggestions for how the issues that impede progress may be overcome.
