Annual report 2004/05
The Travelsafe Committee of the 51st Parliament is a select committee responsible for monitoring, investigating and reporting on all aspects of road safety and public transport in Queensland. The committee's constitution, responsibilities and inquiry powers are established by the Standing Rules and Orders of the Legislative Assembly, the Parliament of Queensland Act 2001 and by a resolution passed by the Legislative Assembly on 18 March 2004. This report presents a summary of the committee's activities during the 2004-2005 financial year. During the year, the committee focussed on their inquiry investigating crashes involving driver and rider fatigue in Queensland.
