THIS SYSTEM, WHICH IS ILLUSTRATED IN A SKETCH, MAKES POSSIBLE DEFROST TIMES OF ABOUT 5 MIN FROM 0 F USING POWER LEVELS OF 1.0 W/SQ IN. ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE RANGES FROM 10-100 OHMS/SQ, AND 2.5 FT X 5.5 FT AT RESISTANCE VALUES AS LOW AS 2 OHMS/SQ. POWER IS SUPPLIED THROUGH PRESSURE-CONTACT BUSBARS USING 1/16TH IN X 0.009 IN COOPER TAPES. THE TAPES ARE TINNED WITH SOLDER TO GIVE A DESIRABLE SILVER LOOK.
