AIRPORT CERTIFICATION
A REVIEW IS GIVEN OF THE PROVISIONS AND BACKGROUND OF THE LEGISLATION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING A PROGRAM OF AIRPORT CERTIFICATION TO BE IMPLEMENTED BY FAA. THE MEANS OF ACHIEVING AIRPORT SAFETY, BASIC CERTIFICATION CONCEPTS, AND MINIMUM SAFETY STANDARDS ARE DISCUSSED ALONG WITH THE AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANUAL AND EMERGENCY PLAN, STANDARDS FOR FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE, AND PAVEMENT REQUIREMENTS. /IAA/
