THIS IS A STUDY OF 640 MEN IN THE 25-64 AGE GROUP ARRESTED FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED IN SANTA CLARA CO., CALIFORNIA AND 383 IN THE COLUMBUS, OHIO METROPOLITAN AREA IN 1962. ARREST RATES FOR SPANISH-AMERICANS IN SANTA CLARA AND NEGROES IN OHIO WERE HIGHER THAN FOR WHITES.
