Green Square Urban Renewal Area: transport management and accessibility plan (TMAP)
The Green Square Urban Renewal Area is Central Sydney's largest and most accessible identified growth centre. For Central Sydney's future mobility, it is critical that an integrated development plan is implemented to deliver world class outcomes in sustainable development at Green Square over the next 25 years. The Transport Management and Accessibility Plan (TMAP) adopted for the area should enable new and existing residents and workers to travel conveniently, efficiently and sustainably while incorporating ambitious, achievable targets for reducing growth in private car use. With comprehensive efforts, the TMAP could lead to a reduction in car travel over the 25 years.
