Implementation of the SHRP maximum pavement temperature statistic into Australian asphalt practice to control rutting
In this paper it is demonstrated that the 86th percentile of the maximum air temperatures in the warmest month, published by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology is, for all practical purposes, identical to the parameter developed by the SHRP project in the USA as a specific tool in a system to control asphalt rutting.
