Before and after opening of the M4 Motorway from Mays Hill to Prospect : Sydney case studies in induced traffic growth

This paper examines before and after conditions surrounding the opening of the Mays Hill to Prospect section of the M4 motorway in Sydney's west. The aim of the examination has been to identify any possible traces of induced traffic growth, or increases in travel generated as a direct response to the increase in road capacity.
